Services FAQs

I have intentionally chosen to remain an out of network provider (OON) in order to have increased freedom with the services I provide as insurance often determines rates, co-pays, deductibles, number of sessions, qualifying diagnoses, etc.
I require all clients to pay for services upfront and have the ability to afford services at the time of treatment, while being able to provide a courtesy Superbill which is like an itemized receipt that can be submitted directly to insurance by a client and that may receive full or partial reimbursement . I cannot guarantee this reimbursement.
Clients must receive a qualifying diagnosis in order to submit Superbills. -
As a non-pathologizing and private pay provider, I do not always give a formal diagnosis unless a client requests one or having one would add value to the overall counseling process.
If you decide to

Reach out anyway! I would love to support your process in increasing comfort with the option of a group experience. I value all spaces being safe and consent-driven and would do my best to encourage this brave step!

I believe that throughout our lives, our financial circumstances ebb and flow. Sometimes we have enough to pay it forward, and sometimes we have just enough to scrape by. I attempt to offer services at a range of rates in order to best meet the needs of the clients I see and attend to my own financial health.
The investment necessary for counseling can be significant. Personally, I have paid privately for services, utilized insurance, sliding scales, or out of network benefits depending on my financial abilities at the times I sought therapy services for myself.
